🇨🇿 Místo klasické cesty z hostelu do hostelu jsme se rozhodli konečně využít naše vybavení a taky jít tenhle hike trochu rychleji, než je běžné. Díky tomu jsme si mohli lagunu Quilotoa užít jen sami pro sebe a kempovat přímo u ní. Boží!

🇬🇧 Instead of the typical hostel-to-hostel route, we decided to finally use all of our equipment and also make this hike a little faster. Thanks to that, we could've enjoyed the Quilotoa lake alone and spent a night right next to it!

Laguna de Quilotoa 💙

Nějak jsem zapomněla dosdílet zbytek treku k laguně Quilotoa. Tak než se ve feedu přesunu na Galapagy, ještě trochu hor.

Druhý den: Chinalo ➡️ Quilotoa, 19 km, 1500 m nahoru.

Krása střídala nádheru. Šli jsme přes malé vesničky i nedotčenou přírodu, výhledy byly nezapomenutelný a místní nejmilejší.

No a bolelo to samozřejmě ještě trochu víc než první den. Nepomohlo, že jsme na konci špatně odbočili a přidali si asi 200 výškových metrů do unavených nohou. Na poslední fotce je zachycené naše nadšení potlačené únavou, když jsme konečně našli správnou cestu. 😂

Dostali jsme ale za odměnu nejkrásnější kempovací spot. 🏕️

🇬🇧 Somehow, I absolutely forgot to share the rest of our trek to Quilotoa lagoon. Therefore, before moving to Galapagos, I'll fill the feed with a bit more mountain landscape.

Day two: Chinalo ➡️ Quilotoa, 19 km, 1500 m up.

The trek was beyond beautiful. We crossed small mountain villages and untouched nature. The views were spectacular and the locals super kind.

And, of course, it hurt even more than the first day. The wrong turn we took by the end of the trek which added another 200 high meters for our tired legs to climb wasn't helpful. The last picture captures our enthusiasm covered by tiredness, when we finally got back to the original path. 😂

But the most beautiful camping spot was waiting for us as a reward. 🏕️

Cestou necestou s mým nejoblíbenějším človíčkem. 🖤

Hele nebudu kecat, ten trek mě bolel. Normální lidi to chodí tři dny. Z hostelu do hostelu, kde se o ně postarají, takže na záda stačí malý batůžek. 🎒

Ale to bychom nebyli my, abychom si nevymysleli něco speciálního. Nevzali stan a nerozhodli se to zvládnout za dny dva. ⛺

Ale stálo to za to. Ten čas jenom spolu. Ty studený rána a nejlepší kafe. Večeře z ešusu a k obědu tortily s arašídovým máslem. Tak snad se příště půjde zase o trochu líp.

První den: Sigchos ➡️ Chinalo, 19 km, 1000 m nahoru.

🇬🇧 Just hiking, with my favorite person. 🖤

I won't lie, that trek did hurt. Normal people would spend three days hiking it. From one hostel to another, so only with a small backpack. 🎒

But that's not us. We always want something special. So we took our tent and decided to make it in two days. ⛺

It was worth it though. The quality time together. Those chilly mornings and the best coffee. One-pot dinners and peanut butter quesadillas for lunch. Hopefully, next time, it's gonna be a little better.
